How you opt in
MEvid lets an event organizer collect short video clips from their guests. When an organizer creates an event at maineventvideo.com, they may enter the mobile numbers of guests they are personally inviting. Before any text is sent, the organizer must check a consent box — which is unchecked by default — confirming that each person listed has given permission to receive a one-time invitation text for that event. Only then is a single invitation sent to each number.
